LMR/LKR SERIES INKS

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

LMR/LKR Heliopac Seriese Inks.

LMR/LKR inks are specially formulated for rotogravure surface printing on to a range of board substrates for cigarettes jobs.

PROPERTIES:

  • Good printibility

  • Good gloss

  • Good rub resistance

  • Low foaming potentiol

  • Good heat resistance

  • High color strength at printing viscosities

  • Low solvent retention

  • Accepts inline cutting and creasing

All colors have reasonable degree of light fastness but may not withstand extended exposure to light. If improved light fastness is required this should be specified at the time of order.

PRESS CONDIIONS:

LMR/LKR inks can be printed at a range of printing speeds up to 200-250 m/min. However if the customer is also using overprint water based varnish than care must taken to ensure adequate drying at these speeds.

REDUCERS:

n-Propanol = 50%Ethyl Acetate = 50%

Reduce the inks with above solvent blend to printing viscosities. Accelerator Ethyl Acetate Retarder n-Propanol Too much retarder can significantly increase the solvent retention.

REDUCING MEDIUM:

CL00300LMR (Solid colours) CL00301LKR (Process colours)

WASH UP:

Alcohol with ester blend.
